Legion Brewing was founded in 2015 inside the Brodt's Music building in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte as the first brewery and taproom. It was a perfect storm at the time—they needed a video to promote a beverage and I had been developing some serious motion graphic chops... plus beer. The result is a visceral motion graphic that almost demands drink alongside. Since then, Legion has expanded into several locations and production facilities, and launched a sister company.
