While documenting a university cheer team, I realized I gravitated towards the imagery of hands. It made me think a lot about why I was drawn towards them, and I concluded: 'our' hands are critical tools in cultural advancement and survival; and that I could tell a lot about a person based on what their hands communicated. This series examines body language translated through our hands; more specifically the raw emotion and trust
between teammates.
